Seller Preparedness Credit*
The Seller Preparedness Credit is available to customers who sell their car to Shift and meet the following requirements:
- Customer is prepared at their first evaluation appointment with:
- Complete set of car keys (one or two keys as applicable)
- Valid driver’s license of the car owner
- Signed title and current registration
- Loan or lease payoff statement (if applicable)
- Customer completes the sale to Shift at this first appointment.
The Seller Preparedness Credit is $100 between 2/7/2022 and 12/31/2022. At all other times, the credit may be a different amount. Vehicles sold to Shift prior to 2/7/2022 are not eligible for the Seller Preparedness Credit.
*The Seller Preparedness Credit is not applicable to vehicles sold to San Diego and Los Angeles-area Shift locations.
“Sell at Your Local Shift” Seller Credit
Where available, customers may schedule an evaluation appointment at a Shift Hub. The “Sell at Your Local Shift” Seller Credit is available to customers who schedule their evaluation appointment at a Shift Hub and complete the sale to Shift at a Shift Hub.
The “Sell at Your Local Shift” Seller Credit is $200 between 5/5/2022 and 12/31/2022. At all other times, the credit may be a different amount. Vehicles sold to Shift prior to 5/5/22 are not eligible for the “Sell at Your Local Shift” Seller Credit.
Combining Credits, Final Payment, Eligibility for Other Offers
The Seller Preparedness Credit may be combined with the “Sell at Your Local Shift” Seller Credit, where applicable, if a customer schedules an evaluation appointment at a Shift Hub and meets the above requirements for the Seller Preparedness Credit at this first appointment.
The Seller Preparedness Credit and the “Sell at Your Local Shift” Seller Credit are contingent upon a successfully completed transaction, and are applied to the final payment made to the customer. Shift reserves the right to cancel a transaction under the Seller Agreement presented at the time of sale.
Customers who receive the Seller Preparedness Credit or the “Sell at Your Local Shift” Seller Credit are still eligible for other offers when purchasing a car from Shift.
The amount, viability, and other details of the Seller Preparedness Credit and the “Sell at Your Local Shift” Seller Credit are subject to change without notice. Exclusions may apply.
