We’re holding a Car to Cash event on January 22nd and 23rd, at Lot C (enter through Gate 3) in Santa Anita Park. We’ll be there from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. both days to make you an offer on eligible cars with less than 100,000 miles and buy your car right then and there.* And if you sell your car to us, we’ll give you a Lyft home!
Here’s what’s you can expect at the Car to Cash event:
✔ No-obligation evaluation: We’ll take a look at your car, noting all its bells and whistles, and then make you an offer based on thousands of data points including your local market demand.
✔ Free coffee: Join us Saturday or Sunday and you can have a complimentary caffeine boost from our onsite coffee truck (10a – 3p) while we evaluate your car.
✔ Complete your transaction in about an hour: Ready to sell at the event? Great, that means you’ll get a $400 bonus if you sell to us on the spot! We’ll handle all the paperwork and get you on your way.
✔ Get paid straight to your bank account: Your digital payment is initiated within 48 hours of selling your car, but it may take your bank 3-7 business days to have the funds be available in your account.
✔ Get a free ride home: No need to spend all the new cash on a rideshare home. We’ve partnered with Lyft to offer free rides, up to $25, to anyone that sells their car at the event.
*Don’t forget that your keys, title, registration, and loan or lease payoff statement must be available at the time of sale. $400 bonus is only eligible to those who sell their car on the spot at the event. See terms and conditions below for more details.

Terms & Conditions for Shift’s Car to Cash Event (this “Promotion”):
The Car to Cash Evaluation Event runs from Saturday, January 22, 2022, at 9:00 AM PST to Sunday, January 23, 2022, at 9 PM PST.
A $400 credit is available from January 22, 2022 at 9:00 AM PST to January 23, 2022 at 9 PM PST to customers who meet the following requirements:
- Customer is prepared at the Car to Cash Evaluation Event with:
- Complete set of car keys (one or two keys as applicable)
- Valid driver’s license of the car owner
- Signed title and current registration
- Loan or lease payoff statement (if applicable)
- Vehicle has 100,000 miles or less
- Customer completes the sale to Shift at the Car to Cash Evaluation Event.
A $200 credit is available from January 22, 2022 to within 7 days of offer to customers who meet the following requirements:
- Customer receives an offer at the Car to Cash Evaluation Event.
- Customer completes the sale to Shift at a Shift Hub within 7 days of offer.
- Customer is prepared at the time of sale with:
- Complete set of car keys (one or two keys as applicable)
- Valid driver’s license of the car owner
- Signed title and current registration
- Loan or lease payoff statement (if applicable)
- Vehicle has 100,000 miles or less
Offers made at the event are only valid for seven days.
Vehicles sold to Shift prior to January 22, 2022 are not eligible for the Promotion. Credit is contingent upon a successfully completed transaction, and is applied to the final payment made to the customer. Shift reserves the right to cancel a transaction under the Seller Agreement presented at the time of sale. This Promotion may not be combined with any other offers. This Promotion may be changed or terminated at Shift’s sole discretion at any time and without notice.
